The problem with credit cards is people use them as loans – spend everything on the card then spend years paying back the minimum payment each month to then pay it again when they re-spend. If you have a credit card, the best bet is to clear it at the end of each month straight away.

The book was filled with a lot of information about how the banks and credit card companies rip you off. It does contain some good legal and financial information about getting out of debt and staying out of debt as well. Some of the information applied to my situation and probably some will apply to you. It also talks about free money grants as something that could help pay your debt. This book is a great resource book. Overall this is a pretty good book.

Interesting book, never thought I'd realise just how corrupt the banking sector is. It's good to know there's people like Kevin around who know the industry inside out. Lots of useful advice and tips on how to “take control” of your unsecured debts and actually make a little bit of something on the way.

Kevin Trudeau's Debt Cures is alot of fluff and very repetitive. Lots of emotionial observations meant to creat a sense of being wronged. Little helpful information unless you are very young and this is your first rodeo.

If you are looking for good sound finanacial advice go with Dave Ramsey or Suze Orman. The price of this book is way over the top, and the only one who will benefit from it will be Mr. Trudeau!
